The striking new heatsink design, inspired by the flagship Relentless Mono Amplifier, immediately captures attention. Each heatsink is meticulously milled from a single, 48.5-pound (22-kilogram) aluminum billet slab, forming an efficient elliptical shape that significantly enhances cooling. This design ensures the Progression M550 Mono Amplifier operates safely and reliably, even at its full-rated power of 550/1,100/2,220 watts into 8/4/2 ohms.

The Progression M550 features substantial revisions to its input topology, resulting in improved distortion, signal/noise ratio, channel separation, and bandwidth measurements. New transistors, capable of handling six times the power of previous components, and a new DC coupling circuitry enhance low frequency performance and extend the amplifier's bandwidth. This advanced front end, paired with the enhanced output stage, elevates dynamic impact, detail retrieval, and spatial integrity of playback. The audio signal path is entirely discrete, balanced, and direct-coupled, with advanced protection techniques safeguarding the amplifier and associated components from unexpected anomalies.
