We’ve just received the first pair of the Wilson Audio Alexia 2 in Canada, and should have them uncrated and playing by the time you read this.
The Alexia 2 may look superficially similar to the 1, but every element, every curve, every component was carefully examined for possible improvements. Fuelled by the WAMM Master Chronosonic project, the lessons learned were applied liberally where possible. The Alexia 2 is more amplifier friendly due to higher nominal impedance
Using enclosure and wire management hardware first pioneered in the WAMM and Alexx, the Alexia 2’s midrange enclosure’s internal volume is 26.4% greater. The woofer enclosure is increased by 10.8%.
The Alexia 2 uses the new WAMM tweeter, version Mark V.
More advanced mechanism adjustment of the tweeter module, leading to DOUBLE the adjustments over Alexia 1.
