The best-sounding system is often the one with the fewest connections between components. The MxV Integrated takes D'Agostino's preamp and power-amp circuitry and fuses them directly together on one signal path — no interconnects, no extra chassis-to-chassis handoffs — which is a big part of why it sounds as immediate and direct as it does.
It's not a stripped-down "integrated" in the usual sense, either. Under the hood you get the same 250-watts-per-channel MxV power section as the standalone amplifiers, the same higher Class A bias, and the same Relentless-derived output transistors — full Momentum-series performance in one box. And because it's modular, you can build it out over time: add the optional digital streaming module for network playback, Tidal, and Qobuz with MQA decoding, or add the phono module if vinyl's part of your system, without needing a separate box for either.
