These speakers were designed by Daryl Wilson, who subsequently designed the XVX Chronosonic. Combining a smaller form factor with incredible full range performance, the Yvette is unique in its ability to reproduce Class A performance, and you can still use a modest amplifier to get amazing results!
The sound is large, lifelike, powerful and yet subtle and refined. It shares much of the technology of the WAMM, the top speaker that Wilson makes. You will be stunned at the full range capability of the speakers, the natural and organic warmth, the sharp imaging with huge soundstage and depth.
And yet they can be placed close to the wall behind them, making it easy to position.
For example, the tweeter is a version of the same used in the WAMM. In fact, it is the same as the Sasha 2 and Alexx tweeter. The enclosure uses the same X and S material found in the WAMM.
Each speaker weighs 175 lbs! That's how dense and substantial they are.
Frequency response is 20 - 25kHz, +/- 3dB
