This is a long overdue report I have been meaning to write. However, after an hour and half holding my Samsung "slimphone" repeatedly taking pictures of the Naim Uniti all-in-one integrated amplifier, my cramped hands are not capable of rambling up a full sized essay. Let's let the pictures talk.
Design of the Uniti range is astonishing. Below is the top of the line Nova, the 2-piece chassis look, LED lit volume dial & logo, and the polished front display scream of hi-tech luxury.
Stumbled on this track on FM 97.7 hits radio, Footballer's Wife by Amy MacDonald, ever since this has become single-track repeat both at home and work. Album cover art is as clear and sharp as my Samsung "crackphone". Yes, my Galaxy S7 has multiple outstanding features worth naming after.
Naim Uniti vs Classic in design. To each their own, but the amount of innovation is undeniable.
Half the chassis, half the power, and less than half the price compared to the Nova, the Uniti Atom is considered the sweet spot in this all-in-one genre. Throw in a pair of quality speakers with adequate efficiency, that is all needed for an exuberant musical and theatrical experience.
The Uniti is a powerhouse of features and connectivity. Besides conventional digital and analogue inputs, the HDMI port is a very handy solution for movie playback. We will include operation and setup details in another article in the near future. Naim's website and forum are great sources as well.
