Here at Audio Excellence, we are thrilled to bring you an exciting announcement that is sure to captivate the audiophile community. Dan D'Agostino Master Audio Systems has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Momentum MxV Integrated Amplifier, which promises to redefine the boundaries of sonic performance.
This remarkable creation ingeniously combines the cutting-edge front-end technology harnessed by the Momentum HD Preamplifier with the formidable power section found in the Momentum MxV amplifiers with a modular design. The preamplifier part uses the Momentum HD Momentum Preamplifier's basic topologies, including its ground-breaking FET-based input stage. Increased electrical and audio performance is achieved by eliminating potential abnormalities generated by connectors and cables and connecting the preamplifier amplifier stage directly to the amplifier input section. The modular design means individual customization and expansion and it offers a versatile configuration within a sleek and compact design. The core line stage preamplifier section can be enhanced with optional modules such as a digital streaming module and a phonostage module.
The integration of modules seamlessly harmonizes all internal sections, a notable mention is the new ultra-quiet 2,000VA linear transformer which utilizes their unique toroidal winding technology. This innovative approach enables the amplifier to deliver impressive power outputs, achieving 250/500/1,000W into 8/4/2Ω speaker loads. As well, the internal circuitry makes allowances for asymmetric power waveforms and DC on the mains, and filters RF noise well.
The Momentum MxV Integrated Amplifier has a dedicated audio chassis with a separate power supply. The complete physical and electrical isolation it offers between the audio signal and the power supply sections preserve the signal integrity while optimizing both power and audio circuitry. Bipolar transistors are used at the front end of the Momentum MxV Integrated Amplifier to increase low and high-frequency performance while reducing distortion thanks to their broader bandwidth and higher power. The final output stage of the Momentum MxV Integrated Amplifier boasts 28 high-speed, high-output transistors sourced from the flagship Relentless Monoblock Amplifier. We are also talking about the addition of a new bias stability circuit, unique Copper/Aluminum thermal engine heatsink and reduced stress on each individual device, helping with increased, consistent bias and phenomenal temperature control.
A product that might redefine the realms of sonic perfection, are you excited for a richer, more dynamic, and more intimate presentation of music? This is a true marvel of audio engineering that can potentially elevate your listening experience to unparalleled heights.
Warm regards,
Alison
