The Audio Excellence Big Boy Room
This past Saturday was the first of our manufacturer meet and greets. After 2 long and grueling years of quarantining from Covid-19, we were extremely happy to host another open house at Audio Excellence. We started off by having Valerio from Acora Acoustics join us with their wonderful granite speakers. Val, the Chief Designer, setup their floorstanding SRC-1 and bookshelf SRB speakers to hear in our store.

The granite enclosed speakers from Acora pack a huge punch for the size of their drivers. The 7” paper cone woofer on the SRC-1 can really shake the ceiling panels with the amount of bass they produce, no matter how many times Adrian complains about the lack of bass. Personally, I still think that there is a hidden subwoofer somewhere in the 250 pound (EACH) unit.
We were also pleasantly surprised to have Father Vinaya and Father Yohan to join us. The two ordained ministers were happy to bless our store and the speakers with an extra bit of BEEAHS. The Acora SRB bookshelf speakers made a huge impression on everyone that listened to them. Everyone was surprised by the power of these speakers from their size. Aside from us two Alex’s eating all of the food in the store, the event was a lot of fun and a great chance to talk to other audiophiles.
